The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Quilt above is our "scrappy" version and the quilt to its' right is our "planned version"
(read more under red quilt) | | Let's face it--we all have those fabric stashes filled with good, bad & ugly fabric. Now's your chance to use them in a nice lap quilt! Slash your stash during a day of sewing. OR if you just want to sew in fellowship bring along whatever you are currently working on--we will be available for help if you have any dilemmas!
We'll also be doing demo's on Sue Pelland's Leaves Galore Ruler used in our Moda Bakeshop project!

This lap sized quilt is inspired by Darci's grandma, whose love of crafting has been passed down three generations! Join us in traveling back into Harriet's era while assembling this unique lap sized row quilt. Bonus project of an English paper pieced mat is included.

A Baker's Dozen

Cost: $35.00 starting fee plus $5.00 for the first month's block.
If you bring your finished quilt block in, your next month's block is only $1.00. If your block is not finished, your next month's block is $5.00 (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
Cost includes pattern, fabrics for monthly pieced quilt blocks.

Lacey did her quilt using 3 colors (cream, green & black)
with a quarter square triangle setting blocks.
She added an additional 2 blocks and more borders so it will fit a queen size bed.

Darci did her quilt using a fat eighth bundle of Kansas Troubles with a court house step setting block.
Her quilt finished about 80" x 80" and followed the pattern almost as is.
